To be honest, Sit&Cut wasn't born as a business idea. We didn't come up with it sitting in an office.
My name is Domonkos Leindler, I'm a hairdresser, and this whole story is very personal.
I played football from about the age of 5. I practically went through every level of football: MTK, Szolnok, SZEOL, national youth team... I was truly a footballer through and through.
Hairdressing in the mornings, training, training, training in the afternoons, matches on weekends. The grind was real.
Then came the bitter truth.
I got a slipped disc. Not just one, I was diagnosed with disc herniation in three places in my spine. And from then on, everything changed.
After a while, long workdays started to hurt brutally. I'm not exaggerating when I say: many times it felt like torture. Standing for 8-10 hours a day can be cruel, especially when you also have to work precisely.
And suddenly, the question popped into my head:
Why isn't there a solution that allows you to work even while sitting?
Something that takes this strain off your body.
And that's where Sit&Cut began.
First, for myself. So I could continue to work. So it wouldn't hurt every day. Then I gradually realized that I wasn't the only one struggling with this.
Many hairdressers and barbers live with pain, fatigue, or simply want to work more consciously so that they can still handle this profession 10-20 years from now.
And perhaps this is the best feeling in all of this: that something that was a personal problem can now help others too.
